Vova's Birthday

Today is the birthday of my beloved. So I have been preparing wonderful cakes for a Surprise Party for him over the weekend and preparing tons of Georgian food, which is where he is from. Georgian food consists primarily lots of Walnuts and vegetables as well as cheese and yogurt. I have made a Middle Eastern inspired cake with homemade rose jam, fluffy white cake with amaretto and a cream cheese frosting. It was lovely convincing non-cake lovers to enjoy it.
